About

Jennifer F. Wellington, CMP, HMCC is a seasoned meeting and event professional with over 20 years of experience specializing in pharmaceutical and corporate events. As the founder of JFW Meetings & Events, LLC, Jennifer brings expertise in speaker bureau planning, program management, venue sourcing, onsite logistics, and compliance. She has successfully worked on thousands of events, from intimate dinners to advisory boards to speaker trainings, both in-person and virtual. Certified in Healthcare Meeting Compliance (HMCC) and a CMP, Jennifer is known for her meticulous attention to detail, client-focused approach, and ability to deliver seamless, high-quality programs.

Jennifer is a member of the MPI Greater New York Chapter.

Services

Onsite Meeting Management / Trip Director

  • Onsite supervision of registration and hospitality desks

  • Oversight of rooming lists, hotel blocks, and transportation logistics

  • Coordination of breakout sessions, meeting materials, and attendee activities

  • Management of food & beverage operations and hotel staff to ensure flawless execution

Full-Service Program Management

  • End-to-end coordination of meetings, conferences, educational programs, advisory boards

  • Development and management of registration sites and attendee databases

  • Logistics coordination including room blocks, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), audiovisual needs, and travel arrangements

  • Program reconciliation and compliance reporting

Speaker Bureau Management

  • Procurement of faculty and host documents (CVs,

W-9s, contracts, confidentiality agreements)

  • Coordination of speaker travel, lodging, and AV needs

  • Communication with speakers, sales teams, and site hosts

  • Processing of speaker honoraria and reimbursement of expenses

Virtual & Hybrid Event Support

  • Program moderation and technical coordination for virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, etc.)

  • Management of virtual speaker logistics and content delivery

Venue & Vendor Sourcing

  • Research and selection of venues that align with event goals and budget

  • Contract negotiation, including rates and concessions

  • Coordination with hotels, transportation providers, and destination management companies (DMCs)

  • Proposal development with detailed notes and key deadlines
